Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pure Trash They lock up and you have to cut them off to get your item loose. Obviously, then they can just be thrown away. NO WAY will I even let you give me some of these. I hope no one wastes money on this product. I use bungee cords or rope exclusively now and works 100 times better.

what is difference between Part # 229 and Part # 249?

We have a strap that broke, not Sue why, we tied down in enclosed motorcycle trailer, maybe used 6 times. Older model HY 0915, orange, ratchet tie down e3,000 lb. Probably bought tractor supply oswego, NY, thanks. R there replacement strap and hook.
