10' Retractable Ratchet Tie Down; 3,000 lbs (2 Pack) is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from I've purchased 2 sets, and they ok At around $20 a piece, I'd expect these things to last for a while, and I was severely disappointed. I have 2 pairs, and they're very convenient when they work, and I absolutely love the idea, however the retracting spring in one of my straps broke, so it will no longer retract as it should. First, I attempted to contact support through the email that was posted in response to other negative reviews, but that didn't work, so I went through the site filling out a support form, and I have gotten no response for weeks. I love the way these straps work, and I believe they're worth it as long as they last longer than a year of occasional use.

I guess you don't care about the product or the suckers that purchase your product. You should be ashaimed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product I wish I read the reviews before buying these. I used them the first time this week to haul my motorcycle and all of the straps came loose. I stopped multiple times to check them and each time at least 2 straps were completely slack. I don’t trust these straps. I wouldn’t waste your money on these.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Product! I bought these straps to use for volunteer work I do for my church. We collect furniture for the poor. I used them once to secure furniture in the bed of my pick up. Ever since then, the strap is locked up on the spool and I can’t get the latch to release. I know it’s too late for me since the 90 day warranty has expired, but I don’t want others to make the same mistake and buy this product with many others to choose.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would not buy Its funny that you say that we must have gotten a bad batch of these Smart Straps. But many reviews say the same thing. I like mine for the first month or so and then they would not retract. I took one apart and the spring broke in about 15 pieces

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Retractable ratchet straps Bought a set of 4 ratcheting ratchet straps and after using them about 4 times I had 2 of them break and the others have now quit retracting. Looks like good craftsmanship but just poor quality with mechanism. Threw them away because feel they have become unsafe. Dont recommends

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Message: I wanted to share how disappointed I am. I have used your straps for many years. So it was a no brainer when I bought a set of these from Lowe’s, but mine were camo. http://www.smartstraps.com/product/10-3000-lbs-retractable-ratchet-tie-2-pk-orange/ The mechanisms broke on the first use on BOTH straps. Luckily I was able to get a refund from Lowe’s. These were not cheap. I am scared to buy another set or straps of any kind from you.

Do you or can you make the 173W product with a 15' belt?

Asked by: William
Part number 173W has a belt length of 10' and does not have a longer version exactly like this one specifically. I do want to share, we offer a 14' retractable ratchet tie down 4 pack (PN645) which is still a bit shorter than what you were looking for but wanted to pass along this option. Thank you for purchasing Winston Products. I will provide our team with your suggestion as well.
