Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding product My husband keeps these in his truck and has used them for numerous jobs including tying down his arc on his trailer. He said they’re the best ratchet straps he has used. They hold well, have non marring hooks, and are easy to operate and don’t hurt your hands. Will definitely be recommending them to friends

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use straps I do a lot of moving and towing. It’s hard to find ratchet straps that are easy to release. These smart straps are great. The d-handle design makes it east to release the load. Just a great design and easy to use. The ratchet is smooth. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great straps Anywhere from loading furniture to loading a drag car, we use the straps for both of those. They’re very durable and we like how bright orange they are so we can see where they are in the night. Goodbye.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy duty! Great 2-pack of smart straps. These are 10’ rachet tie downs. Perfect for all your storage needs. Anything you need to keep in place, these will hold it. They’re a nice bright orange for visibility and have a safe work load of up to 1000lbs with a break strength of 3000lbs. Heavy duty! They come in an EcoCase reusable storage case for no mess storage that creates less waste for the environment. We got these for holding paddle boards and other water raft, but they’d be great for motorcycles and more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice straps I use ratchet straps for a variety of projects from hanging deer stands to strapping lumber down in my truck. These are high quality straps. I like the extra large D Handle compared to the cheaper versions. The metal is also a lot stronger than the cheaper alternatives. Good straps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features! What a great set of tie-down straps! Not only are the straps incredibly sturdy, but they are very visible so that it is easy to see with a glance that they are still secure. The handles also make it easy to use the ratchet system. I would highly recommend this product.

How do I loosen the strap to remove and reuse it? Nothing I've tried has enabled me to loosen the webbing. Any directions for that? There must be a way to loosen it.

Asked by: MyFunnyFumblebum
I solved my own problem. It wasn't that I was not using the correct release mechanism. It's that I had misused the webbing since I DIDN"T LOOK AT THE MANUAL. Once I LOOKED AT THE MANUAL, it became clear to my befuddled mind how to proceed. The webbing had become jammed on the tensioner axle because I re-threaded the loose end back into the wrapping around the axle, since I DIDN"T LOOK AT THE MANUAL. All is well now, and I am chagrined.

How do you operate. I have a new model #4560 with a safe load of 1,000 # and a break strength of 3,000 #.. It is described as a 14' heavy duty ratchet tie down.

Can you safely strap a vehicle (2,500 lbs) to a vehicle trailer using these 4 straps together? Thanks.

Do you have a video showing how to operate #140 strap? Getting it to release to full extension is a super pain. So far I'm not impressed.
