What is the maximum stretch of a 54&rdquo; bungee cord and what is the measurement of the widest part of the hook, because I need to know if can pulled through a 1/2&rdquo; diameter ring.

The maximum stretch of any bungee cord is 50% of the original length. Therefore, a 54&quot; bungee cord can be stretched 27&quot;. The hook measurement is 9.27mm (0.34&quot;).
